About
My research lies at the intersection of strategic human capital, entrepreneurship, and corporate strategy. I explore how major corporate events—such as mergers and acquisitions, deal terminations, and bankruptcy—reshape firm strategy and individual careers.
Originally from South Korea, I received my Ph.D. in Management (Strategy Area) from Purdue University, M.Sc. in Business and Technology Management from KAIST, and B.A. in Economics from Sungkyunkwan University. Prior to academia, I worked at Samsung Electronics and PwC.

Outside of work, I'm an avid fan of music and manga—particularly the jazz manga Blue Giant and the 80s Japanese hard rock band Vow Wow. Weekends are for family.
